Store Users

The User tab manages users assigned to a store. Store users can be created, edited, removed, and sent password reset emails.

Access

Navigation path: Settings > Stores > Locations > select a store > User

User List

Column Meaning
Email User login email.
Name User first and last name.
Phone Number User phone number.
Role Store role. Store owner is displayed as admin in this screen.
Action Edit, reset password, or remove.

Use the search box to filter users in the store.

Create A User

Click Create in the User tab.

Required fields:

Field Purpose
First Name / Last Name User name shown in Pixaro.
Email Login email. Must be valid.
Role Store role assigned to the user.
Phone User phone number.
Profile Image Optional user avatar.

If the email does not already exist as a Pixaro user, Pixaro creates the account and sends a welcome email with a password reset link.

Edit A User

Use the row action menu and click Edit.

Editable details include name, phone, role, and profile image. Email is disabled while editing.

Reset Password

Use the row action menu and click Reset Password. Pixaro sends the user a password reset email.

Remove A User

Use the row action menu and click Remove. Confirm the dialog to remove the user from the store.

Pixaro prevents a signed-in user from removing their own user record from the store.

Best Practices

  • Assign the least-permissive role that still lets the user do their job.
  • Remove users immediately when they no longer work with the store.
  • Use password reset instead of manually sharing passwords.
