Tax

The Tax tab manages store-level tax names and rates. Departments can use these tax records when organizing store items.

Access

Navigation path: Settings > Stores > Locations > select a store > Tax

Tax Fields

Field	Purpose
Tax Name	Friendly name for the tax, such as Sales Tax.
Tax Rate	Numeric tax rate. Must be zero or greater.

Add A Tax

1. Enter a Tax Name.
2. Enter a valid Tax Rate.
3. Click the plus icon.

Pixaro adds the tax to the store.

Edit Or Delete A Tax

Existing tax rows can be edited or deleted from the Tax tab.

When a tax is deleted, departments linked to that tax may also be affected. Review departments after deleting a tax.

Best Practices

• Confirm tax rates with the store's finance or accounting owner.
• Use clear tax names so department setup is easy to understand.
• Review departments after changing or deleting taxes.
