Registers¶
The Registers tab manages store register records and maps cameras to those registers. This supports POS transaction review and Video Intelligence workflows.
Access¶
Navigation path: Settings > Stores > Locations > select a store > Registers
Register Fields¶
| Field | Purpose |

| Register ID | POS register identifier. |
| Register Name | Friendly register name shown in Pixaro. |
| Camera Delay in Seconds | Time offset used to align camera playback with POS transaction timing. |
Add A Register¶
- Enter Register ID.
- Enter Register Name.
- Enter Camera Delay in Seconds.
- Click the plus icon.
Register ID and Register Name are required.
Edit A Register¶
Existing registers show locked fields by default.
Use the lock icon to unlock the row, make changes, then lock/save the row again.
Map Cameras¶
Use the camera icon to open Map Camera(s) to Register.
Select one or more cameras from the store's camera streams and click Map Camera.
Mapped cameras are used to connect register activity with surveillance footage. Camera order is preserved based on selection order.
Best Practices¶
- Match Register ID exactly with the POS identifier.
- Set camera delay after checking real transaction time versus video time.
- Map the camera angle that best captures the register area.
- Update register-camera mapping when cameras are moved or replaced.
